Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre is a dynamic, community-based organisation operating for the benefit of people living in the Orbiston and Bellshill area of North Lanarkshire. Our vision is of a thriving, inclusive community where people live, work and play in harmony. Principal services are Childcare, Elderly Care, Community Cafe, Food Coop, Computer Learning, Befriending and Volunteering. In addition to this we also provide meeting space for other groups and activities.

Information Event Self-Directed Support

Thursday 29th March

Bellshill Consortium with In Control Scotland will be hosting an information session on independent living and access to self-directed support on Thursday 29th March from 1:00pm - 3:30pm at Bellshill Cultural Centre. If you're an unpaid carer, use care services or know someone who is likely to use care services then this event is for you. Spaces are limited. Easter Break Kids Club

Weekdays 3rd - 13th April

Holiday Kids Club is running in the Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre weekdays during the Easter break (3rd - 13th of April), which offers supervised play activities for young people aged 4 and above. Contact 01698 842215 or email oosc@oncbellshill.org to reserve your places.

History Of The ONC

The company was established in 1993 by a group of local people from two Church of Scotland congregations. The Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre was opened in 1995 to provide a base for services and initiatives seeking to address problems of social exclusion and deprivation in the Bellshill community.
