Wee Friendly Club
Our Wee Friendly Club is tailored to provide dedicated support for older individuals and their carers residing in Bellshill and its neighbouring areas. Operating every Tuesday to Thursday from 10:00 to 15:00, this daily care service offers a secure and welcoming environment. It aims to empower older people, fostering their independence while ensuring they have access to appropriate support when needed.
For a small fee, participants receive a comprehensive package covering lunch, snacks, transportation to and from our centre, and engaging daily activities. Our programme includes a variety of activities such as games, quizzes, singing, musical entertainment, carpet bowls, arts and crafts, social events, and day trips. These activities are thoughtfully designed to promote physical movement, stimulate the intellect, and encourage social interaction, contributing to the overall well-being of older individuals by maintaining good physical health and mental vitality.
In addition to our regular services, the Wee Friendly Club also offers the Men's Social Club on Mondays from 12:00 to 15:00 and Fridays from 10:00 to 13:00. This club is open to men of all ages to enjoy a few hours to socialise and enjoy a snack and some coffee.
